Andalusia Launches JIMBA Campaign, Aiming to Engage 1 Million Muslims

KUALA LUMPUR: Andalusia Travel and Tours Sdn Bhd has unveiled the JIMBA campaign with an ambitious goal of attracting 1 million Muslim participants for a series of prizes throughout 2025, facilitated by the newly launched platform jimba.com.my.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ida Riswana Idris, director and legal advisor at Andalusia, stated that the JIMBA campaign is designed to enhance the visibility of Andalusia and strengthen connections with the broader Muslim community. The platform will offer prizes worth a total of RM500,000, including umrah packages, gold bars, and a BYD Sealion 7 car as the grand prize. Participants will have the chance to win weekly prizes through a lucky draw conducted at 60 Andalusia branches.

The lucky draw results will be announced live on social media platforms every Friday from 8:30 pm to 10 pm, as explained by Riswana. She expressed hope that the campaign would persist over the next decade, aiming for the involvement of 10 million Muslims. In addition, she highlighted th
e flexibility and affordability of the umrah packages, which are priced starting from RM5,990 and tailored to meet customer preferences.

Md Daud Che Ngah, executive chairman of Andalusia, emphasized that the JIMBA campaign serves not only as a promotional activity but also as a preventive measure against umrah scams. He urged prospective travelers to choose reliable and licensed companies to avoid being defrauded by illegitimate operators and assured that Andalusia’s packages are competitively priced while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of pilgrims.
