Kuala Lumpur:Negeri Sembilan: Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) has taken a strong stance against actions aimed at undermining the Negeri Sembilan royal institution. The organization emphasized the importance of resolving the crisis with respect for the constitutional role of the Malay Rulers and the principles of Islamic teachings, particularly regarding Yang Dipertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir. According to BERNAMA News Agency, AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim highlighted that justice, decorum, proper customary procedures, and the well-being of the people should take precedence over political interests. He urged that any disputes be handled through legitimate processes to maintain the dignity of the royal institution. Muhammad Kamil stressed the necessity of upholding the rule of law in Malaysia, urging respect for the Federal Constitution, the Negeri Sembilan State Constitution, and traditional processes. He warned against allowing political arrogance to undermine these principles and called for an immediate resolution to preserve the royal institution's dignity and the welfare of the community. Additionally, Muhammad Kamil called on the MADANI Government to present reports on the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) and other institutions such as Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and the National Farmers' Organisation (NAFAS) regarding alleged misappropriation and asset losses. He emphasized the public's right to be informed about the extent of these issues and the actions taken against those responsible. He underscored the importance of safeguarding key institutions to ensure their integrity and continued benefits to the people and the Bumiputera community. The MADANI Government, according to him, remains committed to addressing the long-standing damages caused by previous administrations. Muhammad Kamil also advocated for the government to focus on creating quality employment opportunities, fair wages, and skills development for young people, as well as ensuring gig workers receive fair treatme nt and social protection. He urged that these priorities be reflected in the upcoming MADANI Budget 2027. Regarding the Melaka state election, Muhammad Kamil reported that the election machinery in key constituencies had been streamlined, with several young candidates submitted for PKR's central leadership consideration. He cautioned that political cooperation in the election should prioritize the interests of Melaka's people rather than serve as a 'marriage of convenience' for certain parties. Lastly, Muhammad Kamil announced new appointments within AMK, naming Mohd Shafiq Iqram Abdullah as strategy director, Wan Nur Aishah Ahmad Fazli as Federal Territory AMK chief, and Mohamad Iqbal Farok as Federal Territory AMK deputy chief.
