AMK Ramps Up Preparations For Melaka Polls – Kamil Munim

Perak: PKR Youth (AMK) has begun intensifying its preparations for the Melaka state election by focusing on strengthening its election machinery and coordinating grassroots programmes. AMK chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim stated that the Melaka AMK leadership had been instructed to prioritise these efforts to ensure election preparations are carried out comprehensively and in a more organised manner.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Muhammad Kamil emphasized the importance of ensuring that the election machinery, programmes, and overall preparations are in the best possible condition and fully ready. Discussions regarding seat allocation and candidates will be handled by the top leadership of Pakatan Harapan (PH).

The 15th Melaka State Legislative Assembly's term is set to expire in December, prompting these preparations. In the 2021 Melaka state election, PH secured five of the 28 seats, with Barisan Nasional winning 21 seats and Perikatan Nasional taking two.

In addition to election preparations, Muhammad Kamil attended the Perak-level 2026 Kembara Inspirasi Belia Akar Umbi (KIBAR) programme Town Hall session, where over 600 participants aged between 15 and 30 participated. The event, organised by the Youth and Sports Ministry, provided a platform for youth to express their views and interact directly with leadership.

"The implementation of the KIBAR programme will continue to be expanded over time, with a focus on increasing grassroots youth participation across the country," Muhammad Kamil added.
