Negeri sembilan: Negeri Sembilan Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun stated he has no regrets about contesting the Linggi seat in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election. He accepted the people's mandate with an open heart, viewing defeat as an inherent aspect of political life.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Aminuddin expressed his sentiments at a press conference held at the PH command centre. He mentioned that even if he had contested in Sikamat, the outcome might have been the same. He emphasized that the significance of his political journey lies not in the victory or defeat but in the opportunity he had to encourage a generation of people to think critically.

Aminuddin reflected on his eight-year tenure as Menteri Besar, stating that the dissolution of the state assembly offered the people a chance to evaluate his performance. He assured that Negeri Sembilan PH would continue its role as a constructive opposition, working through the 11 seats it secured to ensure continued service and engagement with the populace.

He also expressed aspirations for the new government to uphold beneficial policies and initiatives introduced during his administration. Unofficial results indicated that Aminuddin, who serves as Port Dickson MP, was defeated in the Linggi seat by incumbent Datuk Mohd Faizal Ramli of Barisan Nasional (BN).
