Pahang: AmBank Group has provided village compound illumination through the installation of solar panel street lights at two Orang Asli villages, Kg. Batu Putih and Kg. Sungai Gayung in Pahang. The 11 solar-powered street lights, assembled by AmBank volunteers alongside the villagers, are aimed at improving the safety and daily living conditions of over 30 Orang Asli families. This project was conducted in collaboration with Global Peace Malaysia, whose expertise and on-ground support were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and impactful implementation.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initiative by AmBank Group Wholesale Banking Team is part of their ongoing commitment to community development and sustainability. The installation of these solar lights is expected to enhance the quality of life in the villages by providing reliable and sustainable lighting solutions.
