Ahmad Zahid Expresses Condolences Over Death Of SM Imtiaz Ulul Albab Student

Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has expressed his condolences to the family of Sekolah Menengah (SM) Imtiaz Ulul Albab Melaka student Qayyim Ajwad Shahiruddin, who died today from injuries sustained in a road accident earlier this month.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Zahid described the student's passing as a profound loss and prayed for the full recovery of the other victims still receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the accident. "The students of SM Imtiaz Ulul Albab are like my own children. Every development involving them is close to my heart, and the loss of one of them is deeply heartbreaking," he said in a Facebook post.

Ahmad Zahid prayed that Allah SWT would grant strength and fortitude to the late student's family as they endure this difficult ordeal. "Let us all recite al-Fatihah and pray that Allah SWT showers His mercy upon his soul, forgives all his sins, accepts all his good deeds, and places his soul among His faithful servants," he added.

On July 8, Qayyim Ajwad, his teacher, and two other students from the school were involved in a road accident involving a car and a lorry in Solok Duku, Melaka, while returning from a table tennis competition at Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Cheng.
