Kuching: Ahmad Danial Asri helped himself to a brace en route to steering Kuching City FC to a thumping 4-0 Super League win over Imigresen FC at the State Stadium here tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the home team opened the scoring in the 29th minute through a powerful shot by Muhammad Ramadhan Saifullah Usman but failed to add to their tally in the first half.

Kuching City came back after the break re-energised, with Ahmad Danial notching a brace in the 48th and 64th minutes to give his team a comfortable 3-0 lead. The home team were not done yet, as Petrus Shitembi completed the rout with goal number four in the 74th minute.

After five matches, Kuching City occupy fourth spot in the 13-team Super League standings with 10 points, comprising three wins, one draw, and one loss. Meanwhile, Imigresen are in 11th place with two points after recording two draws and three losses.
