Kuala Lumpur: AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd has made its ninth issuance of senior sukuk under its RM5 billion Sukuk Wakalah programme. In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, it said the issuance of RM400 million in nominal value with a seven-year tenure was conducted today (May 20, 2025).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the proceeds will be utilised for financing disbursements to customers in the ordinary course of consumer financing based on Shariah principles, as well as refinancing any existing loans or financing, including any sukuk issued by the company. AEON Credit highlighted that all utilisation of proceeds under the Sukuk Wakalah Programme shall be Shariah-compliant.
