Kuala Lumpur: PKR Youth chief Adam Adli Abdul Halim confirmed today that he intends to contest for a central leadership council seat at the upcoming party elections in May. The Deputy Youth and Sports Minister stated that this decision aligns with his commitment to actively contribute to the party’s leadership.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Adam Adli emphasized the importance of maintaining an active role in the party’s leadership, especially given his position in the country’s administration. During the launch of the Santuni MADANI programme at Kampung Baru Penaga, he expressed that it would be unjust not to participate actively in the party’s leadership activities.
Adam Adli also conveyed his hopes for a fair and peaceful election process, urging that it proceed without any untoward incidents. The elections at the division level are scheduled to occur from April 11 to April 20, with the central leadership elections set for May 24.
