7-Eleven Appoints Mohd Annuar Zaini as New Chairman


Kuala Lumpur: 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Mohd Annuar Zaini as its new independent and non-executive chairman with immediate effect.



According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Annuar, aged 73, steps into the role following the resignation of Datuk Farhash Wafa Salvador. Datuk Farhash resigned from the position on May 30, 2025, a day after the company’s annual general meeting.



In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, 7-Eleven highlighted Mohd Annuar’s extensive background as a civil servant and corporate figure, boasting over 40 years of experience. The company noted that he holds several significant positions, including a board membership at Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (PERKESO) and chairmanship at Country Annex Sdn Bhd, MRCB Land Sdn Bhd, and UDA Holdings Bhd. Additionally, he serves as the senior advisor of international affairs at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
