TEMERLOH: The Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah, today conferred state honours, awards, and medals on 54 recipients in an investiture ceremony held at Dewan Tun Razak here in conjunction with the 65th birthday of the Sultan of Pahang. Leading the list of recipients were YTL Power International Berhad managing director Datuk Seri Yeoh Seok Hong and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) legal consultant Datuk S.K. Raja Segaran, who received the Darjah Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award, which carries the title Datuk Seri.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, five individuals were conferred the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) award, which carries the title Datuk. Among them were member of the Independent Police Conduct Commission Datuk Tan Kang Sai and Malaysian Space Agency director-general Azlikamil Napiah. Other recipients of the DSAP were Pahang Inland Revenue Board director Ruslan Othman, Works Ministry deputy secretary-general (Management) Mohd
Sakeri Abdul Kadir, and Al-Araby Group chairman Dr Ahmad Sani Abdul Alim Araby.
A total of 30 individuals were awarded the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award that carries the title of Datuk. This group included YM Pantai Lagenda Resources manager Tengku Ahmad Ashraf Tengku Asmawi, Luit assemblyman Mohd Sofian Abd Jalil, Peninsular Malaysia Forestry Department’s Forest Management Division senior director Roslan Rani, and MACC community education division director Nazli Rashid Sulong.
Other individuals conferred with the DIMP award were Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation senior undersecretary (Management) Mohd Norhisham Musa, former Malaysian High Commissioner to South Africa Rus Shazila Osman, Pahang Education director Amzan Malek, and Pahang Town and Country Planning director Nik Noraisu Nik Ibrahim. Pahang Veterinary Services Department director Dr Kamaliah Ghazali, Tenaga Nasional Berhad chief financial officer Nazmi Othman, and International Islamic University Malaysia deputy
rector (Academic and Internationalisation) Professor Dr Ahmad Faris Ismail also received the DIMP.
Additionally, the Pahang Barat Plus Economic Region Development Council chief executive officer Suris Mihat, Fajarbaru Builder Group Group Berhad executive director Kong Kam Loong, WTS Digital Sdn Bhd chief operating officer Masarudin Mahmud, and SMM Education Group chief executive officer Dr Lim Teck Ting were among the DIMP awardees.
Meanwhile, one individual was honoured with the Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) award, seven received the Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), six were awarded the Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP), and three individuals were bestowed the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC) medal.
