500 Children in Sepang Receive School Supplies Worth RM183 Each

Sepang: A total of 500 children from the Sepang parliamentary constituency received school supplies, including uniforms, stationery, and backpacks worth RM183 each. Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu announced that the program was facilitated by the Sepang parliamentary constituency service centre, with assistance from Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Dr. Zulkifli Hasan and Yayasan Taqwa Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initiative is part of a continuous effort to alleviate parents' financial burdens and ensure children are well-prepared for the new school session. Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu emphasized the MADANI government's commitment to supporting education and ensuring no child is left behind, thus providing every generation a chance for a brighter future.

The Sepang MP further elaborated on the allocations made in her constituency, stating that RM3.7 million has been channeled, with over RM1 million dedicated specifically to educational initiatives. This funding aims to enhance educational access and support for local communities, encouraging children to strive for success in their educational pursuits.
