Pantai ria: A total of 50 recipients comprising asnaf (tithe recipients), single mothers, and orphans from the Pantai Ria People's Housing Programme (PPR) here received assistance today under the Sinar Ramadan: Sekeluarga Sekampit Beras Campaign 2026.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, who is also the Member of Parliament for Lembah Pantai, shared in a Facebook post that the assistance included a sack of rice, kitchen essentials, as well as RM100 in cash. The event, held at Surau Al-Hijrah, PPR Pantai Ria, saw the presence of Angkatan Belia Islam Malaysia (ABIM) president Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Samsudin and Badan Kebajikan Islam Telekom Malaysia (BAKIT) secretary Mas Ali.

ABIM stated in a Facebook post that the campaign aims to ensure asnaf families are able to break fast in peace. A total of 300 families are targeted to receive assistance through the campaign in conjunction with Ramadan this year.
