37,880 Vehicles In Sarawak Eligible To Apply For SKDS

Kuching: A total of 37,880 vehicles in Sarawak are eligible to apply under the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS), but to date only more than 26,000 have been registered. Sarawak Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) director Matthew Dominic Barin expressed concerns that many eligible vehicles had yet to be registered under the system.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Barin urged vehicle owners and relevant companies in Sarawak to submit their applications either by visiting KPDN offices or online through the MySubsidi portal. Emphasizing the benefits of the diesel subsidy provided by the government, he encouraged vehicle owners to check their eligibility.

Barin made these remarks during visits to several petrol stations around Kuching today, in conjunction with the implementation of the SKDS in Sarawak.
