Ganzhou: The 2025 Belt and Road Journalists Forum was held in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, bringing together nearly one hundred heads of journalist organizations and media representatives from over 50 countries and regions. The participants convened to discuss the theme “Promoting Civilizations Dialogue and Global Modernization with Power of Journalists.”

According to BERNAMA News Agency, attendees of the forum emphasized the importance of media organizations in addressing global uncertainties. They underscored the need for media to uphold equality, mutual learning, dialogue, and inclusiveness. The forum called for the development of a diversified and multidimensional global network to facilitate civilizations dialogue, which would enable media to expand perspectives, innovate storytelling, build consensus, and foster global cooperation.

Participants highlighted the role of media in bridging geographical distances and perception gaps, advocating for its power in communication to deepen friendships and promote global cooperation. Through these efforts, media can contribute significantly to global modernization and understanding.
