Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will lead the Singapore delegation for the 36th ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings taking place on 26 June 2020 via videoconference.
In line with Vietnam’s ASEAN Chairmanship theme “Cohesive and Responsive”, the ASEAN Leaders will discuss the region’s response to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 and chart a post-COVID-19 path to recovery. The Leaders will also exchange views on regional and international issues, as well as continue discussions on how to strengthen regional cooperation, reinforce ASEAN Centrality, and promote regional peace and stability.
PM will be joined remotely by Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.
