1,800 SPM 2025 High Achievers From Indera Mahkota, Kuantan Celebrated

Kuantan: About 1,800 top-performing students of the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination were honoured at the 2025 SPM Excellence Appreciation Ceremony for the Indera Mahkota and Kuantan parliamentary constituencies on Saturday. Political Secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi stated that the ceremony, held at the Sultan Ahmad Shah International Convention Centre, was aimed at recognising the effort, discipline, and determination of students who excelled in the examination.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the students' achievements also helped Pahang secure second place nationally, with a State Average Grade (GPN) of 4.08. 'I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all students for their effort, discipline, and determination, which are reflected in their excellent results,' Ahmad Farhan said in a statement today. On behalf of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, he also presented incentives and special contributions to 2025 SPM school leavers who obtained results ranging from 4As to 12As.

As part of efforts to strengthen access to digital education, nine high-achieving students listed under eKasih received laptops under the Peranti MADANI initiative by the Implementation and Coordination Unit, Prime Minister's Department (ICU JPM). Ahmad Farhan also expressed his appreciation to parents and educators, describing them as the driving force behind the students' success. 'The MADANI Government under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim remains committed to prioritising education to ensure the future of the country's young generation continues to be strengthened and uplifted,' he said.
