Guardian Malaysia: Guardian Malaysia clinched the Health and Beauty Retailer of the Year (Malaysia) title at the Retail Asia Awards 2025, marking a major milestone in its nearly six-decade presence in the country.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Guardian Malaysia, in a statement released today, said the recognition, described by the company as the ‘crown jewel’ of regional accolades, was announced during the presentation ceremony in Singapore on June 4.
Additionally, Guardian Malaysia also walked away with another two honours – Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year (Malaysia) and Supply Chain Innovation of the Year (Malaysia) awards, underscoring the company’s comprehensive strategy of shopper-centric innovation. ‘Our team members across all levels have redoubled efforts in the past year to deliver a fresher image, a better selection of products and services and also a better retail experience to our shoppers,’ said Guardian Malaysia Managing Director Priscilla Wu.

The Retail Asia Awards is a distinguished annual event that celebrates excellence and innovations in the retail industry across Asia-Pacific.
Founded 58 years ago as a small pharmaceutical outlet, Guardian Malaysia now operates more than 550 stores nationwide, serving over 33 million customers annually.
The company also recently earned seven accolades at the Employee Experience Awards 2025, affirming its status as a great workplace.
