Tambun: A total of 10 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Perak received a total contribution of RM117,000 to enable them to carry out various community activities and programmes. Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, who is political secretary to Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Tambun member of parliament (MP), said the contributions were channelled based on applications submitted by each of the organisations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the allocation provided is intended to be utilised for the benefit of the community and local communities in their respective areas. Muhammad Kamil expressed hopes that the NGOs will use the funds as best as possible. Among the recipients are the Pertubuhan Proaktif Rakyat Parlimen Tambun, which received RM25,000 to fund the implementation of the 2026 Community Programme, and the Kelab Muda Mudi Inspirasi Ulu Kinta, which received RM20,000 for the implementation of the Rise of Tambun Programme.

Additionally, Persatuan Penganut Dewi Muthumariamman received RM12,000, and Surau Kampung Sayong Hilir Kuala Kangsar received RM8,000 to fund the implementation of the Jaulah Mahabbah Ukhuwah Fillah 2026 programme. Persatuan Kebajikan Komuniti Penyayang Kuala Kangsar Perak received RM10,000 to fund the implementation of the Kaligrafi Cina Huixiezhongqiu Piala Perak 2026.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Kamil noted that the bilateral meetings of Anwar with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, as well as leaders of BRICS member countries, reflect Malaysia's good relations with BRICS member countries. He stated that the visit was very successful and Malaysia gained many benefits from the meetings and discussions.

During a working visit to India, Anwar held bilateral meetings with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi as well as Putin to attend the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit in New Delhi on Sept 11.

Furthermore, Muhammad Kamil, also Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief, condemned certain government leaders' political statements that seemed to attack the Prime Minister. He emphasized the commitment of the government, particularly the Prime Minister, to ensuring the implementation of policies and plans for the welfare of the people.
