Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today expressed his appreciation to all Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) personnel in conjunction with the 92nd Malaysian Armed Forces Day. In a Facebook post, Anwar paid tribute to the service and sacrifices of ATM personnel in defending the nation’s sovereignty.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the prime minister wished all ATM personnel good health, strength, and an unwavering fighting spirit in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities to the homeland. Anwar also extended his gratitude to ATM veterans for their years of service and prayed for fallen heroes to be placed among the righteous.

‘Al-Fatihah to the warriors who have gone before us. May their souls be showered with mercy and be placed among the righteous and the martyrs,’ he said.
