Indonesia reports 2,037 new COVID-19 cases, 86 new deaths

The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 2,037 within one day to 153,535, with the death toll adding by 86 to 6,680, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

According to the ministry, 2,302 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 107,500.

The virus has spread to all the country’s 34 provinces.

Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 615 new cases, East Java 279, Central Java 188, South Kalimantan 81 and East Kalimantan 80.
