Thailand's Immigration Bureau on Wednesday announced it has revoked the grant of visa on arrival for 18 countries and regions.
The bureau has also revoked visa exemption grants for three countries and regions.
"We have revoked the granting of the visas to quickly contain the spread of COVID-19," said Interior Minister Anupong Paojinda.
Before, nationals of 18 countries and regions could use their passports or travel documents to apply for Visa on Arrival (VoA) at Thai immigration checkpoints.
