JAKARTA, Indonesia's economic growth
probably firmed slightly in the final quarter of last year to
5.06%, although consumption is likely to have stagnated and
public spending weakened, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati
said on Tuesday.
The annual growth rate for Southeast Asia's largest economy
in the third quarter was 5.02%.
Full-year 2019 growth was seen at 5.05%, below the
government's target of 5.3%, Indrawati told a parliamentary
hearing. This year's GDP growth target is also 5.3%.
The official GDP data will be released next week.
